We seek Senior Geologist | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0013012] candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as DOI. Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum crafting tailored, high-quality course content that educates, engages, and empowers learners with precision and purpose.

Requirements

10+ years applied geology in Dams/water infrastructure; experience with geologic mapping and defect identification at Dams.
BS Geology required; PG licensure preferred; MS a plus.
Field mapping, petrography basics, photographic documentation, GIS familiarity, instruction.
Observation rigor, environmental awareness, clear documentation.
Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the individuals who will be actively completing work on this contract or reviewing documents related to our operations must either be cleared (Secret Fcl / Top Secret Fcl) or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance. All personnel must possess an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Interim TS/SCI or a full TS/SCI clearance in DISS at the time of proposal submission and maintain it throughout the contract. Compliance with FAR 52.204-2 and DoD security requirements (DD Form 254, DD Form 441, and DoD 5220.22-M) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Provides geological analysis of dam sites and materials.
Develops instructional content on rock/soil properties, abutment conditions, and seepage pathways.
Supports field exercises identifying geologic indicators of dam distress.
Connects geology to Dam performance—materials, defects, and site conditions operators must recognize.
Teach rock/soil identification, abutment conditions, karst/solution features, seepage paths; contribute to site-specific appendices; field-day coaching on geologic indicators.
