The position involves leading and executing critical components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses. The role requires performing key account reconciliations, including Cash, Fixed Assets, General Liabilities, Prepaids, and Inventory, while demonstrating a working knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and an emphasis on Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards is essential. The position supports the preparation of both internal and external financial statements and related reports, maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts, sub-ledgers, and associated financial systems. Collaboration with internal teams to provide financial insight and ensure accuracy in department-level reporting is expected. The role also contributes to process improvement efforts and assists in documenting accounting procedures. Additionally, the position serves as a reliable resource and strategic partner to the Controller and CFO on special projects, audits, and ad hoc reporting requests, while building and maintaining strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
