Requisition Summary Peterbilt Motors Company is looking for a Senior General Accountant for our Division Office located in Denton, Texas.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
2+ years of relevant accounting experience.

Nice To Haves

CPA/CMA and Master's Degree.
Experience with SAP.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable making oral presentations to peers and management.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
Strong organizational skills required to manage various projects.
Deadline-driven and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

Coordinate monthly close of general ledger.
Prepare monthly journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
Manage intercompany transactions process with other PACCAR divisions.
Validate monthly financial statement balances.
Assist with preparation of quarterly and year-end external reporting requirements.
Perform internal control reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley reviews as assigned.
Assist with Physical Inventory and Build Station audits.
Complete special projects as required, such as ad-hoc reports for senior management and general accounting support.
