About The Position

RGP is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to support a rapidly growing financial services organization. This role offers the opportunity to oversee fund accounting and month-end close processes while mentoring junior team members and partnering across accounting, analytics, and servicing teams. The ideal professional thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both precision and curiosity to complex fund and loan-servicing structures. This opportunity requires an onsite presence in Buckhead 4 days a week.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of fund accounting experience, ideally within private equity, structured finance, or real estate investment.
  • Background in public accounting or experience working within a fast-growth, lean finance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of servicing models (mortgage or commercial loan) and end-to-end accounting close processes.
  • Solid understanding of loan banking, investor reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Ambitious and collaborative mindset with the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRE or structured-finance portfolios (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee fund accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger review, and reconciliations.
  • Review journal entries, investor allocations, and financial reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage repo and investor reporting flows while supporting servicing analytics.
  • Partner closely with servicing teams to align accounting treatment with loan-level activity.
  • Lead process improvements and mentor junior accounting staff in best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and servicing to streamline reporting and enhance transparency.
