About The Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Accountant to join our Fund Accounting team. This team is responsible for the accounting and reporting as it relates to the Funds. They interact with various groups within the firm on a regular basis as well as with external parties such as investors, portfolio managers, fund admin, and other service providers. The candidate should bring a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of assigned projects and tasks. What you’ll do The Senior Fund Accountant will review and reconcile the funds’ balance sheets, income statements and investor capital activity. This person will review monthly fund performance estimates for investor distribution. They will maintain fund accruals and process payments to vendors and external portfolio managers. This individual will work closely with our PM Compensation team to record investment team payouts and our Valuations team to ensure month-end marks adhere to firm valuation policy. This person will review yearend financial statements and notes; assist our fund auditors with testing. This individual will work on process enhancements and ad hoc projects. What you’ll bring What you need: A bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong working knowledge using Excel (e.g. pivot tables, v and h lookups, index match, etc.) 5+ years of relevant work experience in alternative investments asset managers Strong working knowledge using Excel (e.g. pivot tables, v and h lookups, index match, etc.) Detail oriented and able to adapt quickly to learning new skills and technical knowledge. The base pay for this role is expected to be between $140,000.00 and $160,000.00. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. #LI-MM1

Requirements
