You bring strong proficiency in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, paired with a keen understanding of data processing and backend architecture. Your ability to work across the full technology stack allows you to deliver seamless, efficient, and user-centric applications that directly support regulatory and compliance efforts. We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer who will play a pivotal role in supporting the NEP (National Exam Program) and its application used by SEC examiners. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing applications that process, analyze, and present critical financial and regulatory data.

Requirements

Strong experience in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript
Experience with React or similar front-end frameworks
Proficiency in working with CSV, Excel, and other structured data formats
Strong experience with SQL and database querying
Experience with Git or similar version control tools
Analytical Mindset: Ability to work with complex datasets and build efficient data processing solutions within applications.
Leadership Abilities: Experience leading development efforts or mentoring team members in a collaborative environment.
Effective Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Commitment to Mission: Interest in supporting federal regulatory and compliance initiatives through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

Leading Innovative Projects: Spearhead the design and development of full-stack applications using Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, leveraging modern frameworks such as React to build intuitive user interfaces.
Collaborative Solution Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with federal standards and mission objectives.
Strategic Impact: Analyze emerging technologies and development practices to enhance application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with program stakeholders and end users (including SEC examiners) to gather requirements and deliver impactful technical solutions.
Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
