About The Position

ePayPolicy helps over 10,000 insurance companies speed up incoming and outgoing payments by providing modern payment tools like secure, online ACH and credit card payment pages, point-of-sale financing, payables network tools, and check reconciliation within a single dashboard. Founded in 2014, the company is based in Austin, TX, serves clients in all 50 US states, and has grown over 300% in the last three years. They are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their highly collaborative and entrepreneurial team. This role is pivotal in delivering secure, performant code and involves being part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with experience working in an MVC environment.
  • Extensive experience with C# and the .NET framework (including .NET Core) for building web applications and APIs.
  • Proficiency in modern front-end technologies, including React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices, leveraging things like dependency injection, inversion of control (IOC), RESTful APIs, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, etc.
  • Experience with writing useful unit tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a product-driven organization

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of our web applications, writing high-quality, clean code.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and products.
  • Implement and maintain REST APIs.
  • Adhere to coding standards, development methodologies, and best practices, including unit testing. Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of quality.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies, tools, and frameworks.
