Senior Level Front End Developer Why This is an Exciting Role: As a Senior-Level Front End Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be responsible for providing application development and support to an eco-system of big data apps, in a collaborative environment. Some of the roles and responsibilities include: Interacts with customers, PMs, and other development teams to gather, analyze, and define requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy the client's needs Develops, maintains, supports, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis from system level to individual software components Utilizes software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development, integration, and enterprise-level production environment Designs, creates, tests, and maintains software and web-based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements Follows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and adheres to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications Develops and maintains software and web development technical documentation to assist with software and web application maintenance and upgrades Provides software process management and configuration management throughout the software / web development life cycle. Analyzes and troubleshoots extremely complex software problems and provides solutions using the latest technologies. Requirements

13 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may alternatively be substituted for 6 years of experience.
The ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph which requires US Citizenship.
Strong proficiency in building scalable, component-based front-end applications using React.
Experience developing typed React applications for improved maintainability and scalability utilizing Typescript
Familiarity with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/document-based databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
Knowledge of Git workflows, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.

Nice To Haves

TS/SCI with a current CI Polygraph.
Experience implementing responsive, utility-first styling in React applications using Tailwind CSS
Hands-on experience writing end-to-end tests for React applications with Cypress.
Experience working in Scrum teams using continuous integration and delivery tools.
Exposure to or interest in agentic AI systems, including autonomous workflows, decision-making agents, or AI-driven orchestration frameworks.
