About The Position

The Food & Beverage Manager assists department head in oversight of the activities of the food and beverage departments. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and insure outstanding customer service. Interviews, trains, supervises, coaches, schedules, and manages staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Food & Beverage supervisory or lead experience in a full-service restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, bar service, and banquet procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage labor, control costs, and drive departmental profitability.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, and basic inventory management.
  • Current ServSafe Food Handler and TIPS/Alcohol Awareness certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs., and perform hands-on operational support as needed.
