This position performs advanced fiscal support functions, including processing supplier invoices for timely payment, creating and maintaining supplier and customer contracts within the financial system to ensure compliance with county policies and accurate setup for billing and payments. The role also provides backup support for bi-weekly payroll processing, assisting with payroll audits, data entry, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies. Additionally, it offers backup support for daily collections payment postings, prepares and posts journal entries, assists with account reconciliations, and supports general accounting functions, utilizing the financial system for other assigned duties. The department may choose to fill this position as a Senior Fiscal Specialist or underfill it as a Fiscal Specialist.
