Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required
  • 5-7+ years combined experience in the manufacturing industry and Big 4/public accounting (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical U.S. GAAP accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy.
  • Manage the Planful Financial Reporting Consolidation system (Actual, Budget, and Forecast reporting).
  • Manage corporate accounting processes, including centralized capital tracking.
  • Assist in preparation of the monthly Board deck, including all supporting schedules.
  • Manage the monthly close process, including reconciliations and analyses of related accounts.
  • Provide oversight to the Accounts Receivable function, including weekly reviews of aged accounts and credits.
  • Oversee buying group, rebate, and shelter calculation and payment process in coordination with the Sales team.
  • Manage the annual detailed budget process.
  • Coordinate the company’s annual audit with external auditors.
  • Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls.
  • Coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures related to the financial reporting process.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure US GAAP and IAS compliance.
  • Communicate accounting issues and evolving guidance to management.
