The Senior Pricing Associate should have healthcare financial due diligence experience to help the Pricing and Margin Management team evaluate hospitals’ revenue cycle function and produce pricing proposals in response to customers’ requests. Will have a background in analyzing complex datasets, engaging with multiple stakeholders, and developing compelling narratives to present complex financial information; this is a fast-paced and highly visible role which will engage directly with customers and the internal leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, or related field required (or equivalent experience)
  • Two to four years’ experience in financial due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financial planning and analysis required
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point skills; Power BI/Tableau experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • CRCR Certification or willingness to obtain within 9 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare financial experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Financial Due Diligence and Pricing Modeling: Lead and perform comprehensive financial due diligence on healthcare-related transactions, including analyzing historical financial statements, payroll, and accounts payable extracts, identifying key service gaps, assessing financial risks and opportunities, and providing detailed due diligence narrative
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with clients throughout the financial due diligence process to validate data, review assumptions, and provide a foundation for the final pricing proposal
  • Develop and refine pricing templates and proposals with partnership from cross-functional teams across operations, information technology, and human resources
  • Socialize pricing proposals internally and manage the review and approval process with the project leadership team
  • Facilitate the project from start to finish, including coordinating with teams, setting project timelines, and ensuring deliverables quality and timeliness.
  • Customer Integration Support: Support customer integration process post execution, including reconciling costs to model, reviewing operational plans, tracking project progress and identifying risks
  • Project short- and long-term financial performance of a customer based on integration process and identify potential margin improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Communicate the results with the operations and client delivery team and generate buy-in into potential margin improvement initiatives
  • Margin Management: Support monthly reporting analysis for all clients to review financial performance and discuss any margin improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Maintain a database of all client margin improvement initiatives and track progress of each metric
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure support for individual client initiatives that require multi-team collaboration
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed
  • Ensure margin-improvement initiative values are realized
  • Other: Assist with the growth of the financial due diligence practice, including developing training materials and proposals
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting continuous improvement and team development
  • Lead training sessions and refine financial due diligence models and client deliverable materials
