Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or project control in the federal government contracts space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Knowledge of and experience with indirect rate creation, budget modeling, forecasting, and dashboard reporting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
  • Must be able to pass a Tier 4/High Risk Position Sensitivity and Background Investigation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial analysis knowledge and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline and 10+ years’ work experience.
  • Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (18 years total).
  • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.

Nice To Haves

  • FinOps Certified Practitioner or higher certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Apptio is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards that allow for dynamic views at varying levels of detail.
  • Lead process and data discovery, requirements gathering, and outcome review sessions with external clients and stakeholders.
  • Complete impact assessments of any developed or modified financial models or dashboards.
  • Develop SOPs and user training for developed financial models or dashboards.
  • Complete financial analysis tasks to support strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to create plans of attack focused on increasing operational efficiencies and decreasing financial waste.
  • Complete Ad Hoc projects as needed.
