Organization: Finance - Clinical Operations Support Job Summary: The Senior Financial Manager serves as the primary owner of financial analytics processes and data development to support the clinical operations and finance team. This role drives the design, implementation, and optimization of financial data, reporting, and labor analytics. Acting as a strategic partner, the manager influences decision-making by delivering advanced insights and ensuring data integrity and solutions that add value to the team.

  • Lead or support critical financial processes, including budgeting, labor management, forecasting, capital planning, and long-range financial modeling.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of financial operations and reporting processes.
  • Develop and refine financial models and reporting tools to assess programs and initiatives, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement standardized approaches for handling financial requests and establishing best practices.
  • Create clear guidelines, templates, and workflows to rebuild institutional knowledge and ensure consistency across the team.
  • Identify and leverage synergies across finance teams supporting multiple hospitals and clinical enterprises.
  • Align processes and share best practices to improve efficiency, consistency, and collaboration.
  • Own the data development and reporting strategy, ensuring accurate, scalable, and automated solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align financial analytics with strategic priorities.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance and governance with financial data, reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the evolving needs of the organization and finance operations.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, OfficeConnect, and other enterprise financial systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare finance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with demonstrated expertise in financial analytics, process leadership, and project management.
  • Proven ability to lead data development and process optimization projects.
