JOB SUMMARY: This is a Senior Financial Investigator position in the General Tax Administration Program, Field Operations, Criminal Investigations Process, in the Orlando Service Center. The non-sworn incumbent conducts complex criminal investigations of revenue law violations and provides investigative assistance to our internal and external partners. The incumbent interviews potential subjects/witnesses, researches systems and records, identifies, gathers, secures, organizes, analyzes, and presents evidence, prepares case reports, probable cause affidavits, subpoena requests, and search warrants, testifies at hearings/trials, participates in training, and handles required operational and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Eighteen months of experience related to conducting investigations involving financial or regulatory investigations or examinations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in researching, reviewing, and analyzing data.
  • Experience in conducting fact finding interviews.
  • Experience in testifying in a judicial proceeding.
