About The Position

We are a fast‑growing apparel manufacturing company seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to lead our financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and partner closely with production, sourcing, and executive leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment and understands the financial complexities of apparel manufacturing in the U.S.

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
10+ years of experience in apparel or manufacturing accounting
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production workflows
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise, BlueCherry, etc.)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data organization)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a small accounting team
Excellent communication skills and comfort working with cross‑functional partners
Must be able to work in-office full-time

Nice To Haves

Experience with import/export costing and landed cost
Multi‑entity or multi‑state experience
Experience supporting external audits
Experience in factoring (invoice factoring, purchase order financing, etc.)

Responsibilities

Full ownership of accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, payroll, and financial reporting
Manage month‑end and year‑end close, including consolidations and audit preparation
Oversee cost accounting for raw materials, trims, labor, overhead, and finished goods
Budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and variance analysis
Financial modeling to support pricing, production planning, and margin optimization
Compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and multi‑state regulatory requirements
Cross‑functional partnership with production, sourcing, logistics, and operations
Support external audits
Continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting
