About The Position

Assists Financial Center Manager in maintaining bank operations and supporting Private Client Groups and clients in accordance with all applicable Bank policies and procedures. This role involves extensive traveling to various Financial Centers to assist with staffing. The Senior Financial Center Associate acts as a back-up to the Financial Center Manager, assisting with daily operations such as opening and closing the Financial Center, handling facilities issues, POD scanning, reviewing teller work, processing invoice payments, performing FC proof, managing daily/monthly FC reports, and conducting monthly audits. The position also entails providing ongoing servicing to clients, responding to inquiries and requests regarding accounts, and assisting Private Client Groups with client relationships, including wire transfers, new account paperwork, foreign wires, and collections. Furthermore, the associate supports back office personnel in resolving operational issues like proof, investigations, and wire transfer requests, assists financial center management with various projects, and completes ongoing required training in areas like Compliance and HR. Additional accountabilities include performing special projects and duties as required, consistently adhering to regulatory and compliance policies and standards, and maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
  • 3+ Years of Teller experience in financial services.
  • 2 years: supervisor in a branch setting, managing tellers, compliance, etc.
  • Must be able to travel extensively to various locations in New York (5 Boroughs, Upstate, Long Island).
  • Experience working in a changing dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of business accounts and wires.
  • Displays professionalism.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client service oriented, team player.
  • Motivated.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Back-up to Financial Center Manager.

  • Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
