Requirements

  • 5 years of experience performing accounting and financial analysis in a multinational company is required.
  • 3 years of experience in SAP, at a minimum, is required.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint is required.
  • Advanced user of Excel, being able to create complex models, analyze large datasets, and automate tasks using features like Power Pivot, VBA, Power Query, and complex formulas.
  • Strong research skills with close attention to detail and analytical mindset to spot trends and anomalies.
  • Strong ability to work as a team member in a fast paced, multitask environment, and thrive under pressure and hit tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) - able to influence others using facts and data.
  • Display appropriate ethical knowledge through extraordinary confidentiality, integrity and professional presentation and conduct.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and report monthly expenses for the Company’s Global Corporate functions, including detailed investigation of spending and variances and preparation of management presentations.
  • Apply working knowledge of the ERP system (SAP) to investigate and analyze account balances and transactions; initiate relevant postings to ensure the integrity and accuracy of reporting as per US GAAP standards.
  • Collaborate with other finance teams, and other functions as needed to manage reporting and compliance.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key personnel in the corporate functional departments and provide analytical support and accounting guidance on transactions.
  • Provide financial insight and intelligence to our leadership in assisting them to make critical decisions, allowing us to grow our business and manage our costs.
  • Oversee the preparation of supporting schedules and reconciliation of general ledger accounts for quarterly audit reviews, quarterly J-Sox reviews, and year-end audit.
  • Work closely with the functional departments and assist in developing Capital Authorization Request forms to support investments and ensure appropriate depreciation schedules are executed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the Budget and Forecasting processes for Corporate Functional Expenses, including relevant analysis and due diligence on functional requests.
  • Assist in the posting of relevant intercompany invoicing of corporate functional expenses.
  • Assist corporate finance functions with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.
