About The Position

ASM Group is seeking a strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this high-visibility role, you will partner with business leaders to deliver financial analysis, reporting, and insights that support key business decisions. You will play an important role in KPI reporting, profitability analysis, forecasting support, billing oversight, financial modeling, and month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working cross-functionally, analyzing large datasets, improving reporting processes, and driving business performance in a fast-paced environment. This role is expected to be in office 1-2 days a week in MEdina, MN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong background in financial analysis, account reconciliation, cost analysis, and month-end close.
  • Experience analyzing large data sets using Excel and/or tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, sorting, and filtering.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the billing function in accordance with contract requirements and GAAP.
  • Prepare and manage weekly KPI scorecards and performance reporting.
  • Perform profitability analysis by customer, service category, and item to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Build financial models that connect business strategy to financial outcomes.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and financial analysis using ERP tools, Excel, and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic business initiatives and operational decisions.
  • Support annual operating plan development through financial analysis and planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and ERP system enhancements.
  • Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting processes.
  • Support customer, vendor, and financial audit activities.
  • Partner with customers to support smooth receivables processing within the Trailer Management business.
  • Collaborate across finance, sales, operations, and customer teams to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
  • Support projects aimed at reducing transaction waste and improving efficiency.
  • Perform additional projects and duties as assigned by the CFO.
