About The Position

Copperweld is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis initiatives. This role partners with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that improve financial performance and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker with solid business acumen and a hands-on approach.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience preparing materials for executive audiences is a plus
Deep understanding of financial statements and key business drivers
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for turning data into decisions

Nice To Haves

Experience with ERP systems (Plex preferred, but not required); familiarity with Power BI and Vena is a plus

Responsibilities

Deliver in-depth financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to support executive decision-making
Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and cash flow
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes through automation and system enhancements
Track and report financial and non-financial performance KPIs
Support monthly and quarterly close processes with performance reporting and financial insights
Assist with board materials and investor-related data requests
Partner with IT and Business Analytics teams to ensure data integrity and improve report accuracy
Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned
