In this role, you will be a Finance business partner supporting the Military Aircraft Original Equipment Site Operations Team with robust financial analysis, framing insightful analytical reporting, and supporting financial business rhythms such as long-term revenue recognition, monthly close and forecast. You must have a strong ability to analyze financial outcomes, to seamlessly translate ambiguous data to actionable insights, and to communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in finance or accounting.
  • 5+ years’ experience with finance related analytical skills, cost accounting and/or management reporting.
  • Knowledge of ERP business systems (SAP preferred), internal controls, and US-GAAP.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Strong track record of excellent analytical, critical thinking, and data driven, creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to share results and recommend solutions to various levels of management across multiple operational functions.
  • Being an energetic self-starter, proactive, creative and innovative problem solver is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and/or relevant professional certification such as CPA or CMA.
  • Familiarity OneStream and Power BI
  • Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Experience with Manufacturing Operations Cost Accounting
  • Manufacturing and/or aerospace industry experience preferred
  • Experience with long term accounting and/or US Government regulations including FARs, DFARS, and CAS

Responsibilities

  • Collect relevant data to analyze and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, along with commentary resulting from variance analysis from Prior Periods, Plan or Budget.
  • Work with various areas across the business to understand detailed revenue and expenses within segmented P&L.
  • Report on sales and cost of sales detail for major programs and customers to ensure the business is meeting financial goals and highlight any areas which may require special attention to achieve site and division goals.
  • Assist with annual budget, monthly close, rolling 5-quarter forecast and long-range plan processes.
  • Effectively communicate the impact of relevant operational metrics on financial outcomes and support alignment in accountability of results.
  • Ensure the relevant site operations balance sheet accounts and cash flow drivers are reviewed and analyzed for accuracy.
  • Maintain updated process documentation and assist with streamlining repeatable activities.
  • Build or support standard analytical reporting tools, reports, and operational dashboards.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and governance in support of company processes.
  • Work on special projects and perform other ad hoc duties as needed.
