About The Position

Gartner is looking for a well-rounded Senior Financial Analyst who can provide critical business partner support to our Sales team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Sales with respect to budgeting, forecasting, financial management, reporting, analysis, and mission critical priorities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance required.
  • Major in Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related area preferred
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, business analytics, financial reporting, or accounting
  • Superior financial modeling and data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication skills and a capacity to distill complex concepts into actionable information
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, time management skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • The ability to work independently and with a global, cross functional team to consistently deliver flawless work solutions within aggressive (and changing) time constraints

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of PBCS, PowerBI and US GAAP

Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate value-added financial analysis using our various systems to give senior management the critical insights necessary to make proper business decisions
  • Clearly articulate results and variances to FP&A leadership in the monthly results meetings
  • Produce financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts
  • Partner with various teams (Accounting, Operations, HR, Recruiting, People Analytics, etc.) to improve our data quality
  • Leverage technology and process improvements to drive continuous innovation and quicker turnaround times
  • Assist in knowledge transfer to new and/or other analysts
