This role involves working with Finance Management, Program Management, CAMs, and Finance Analysts to ensure program financial commitments are met and applying Earned Value Management principles to analyze financial and performance data. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree or equivalent experience/combined education or relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Proven effective analytical skills
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration (due to security clearance requirement)

Nice To Haves

  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience with LM Space software (Cobra, SAP)
  • Ability to execute in high pressure environment
  • Experience baselining and managing large production and/or development contracts

  • Previous experience with detailed analysis of data
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5+ years of professional experience; or 4+ years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Responsibilities

  • Work with Finance Management, Program Management, CAMs, and Finance Analysts to ensure the program meets its financial commitments
  • Apply principles of Earned Value Management to analyze financial and performance data
  • Responsible for loading and maintaining budgets and forecasts in the Earned Value Management tool (Cobra)
  • Use Earned Value Management to measure cost and schedule performance
  • Prepare variance reports including trend analysis on a monthly basis
  • Analyze risks and opportunities
  • Develop presentations for upper management as well as external customers
  • Present recommendations on a weekly and monthly basis
