About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in reviewing financial metrics, accounts, and processes to ensure compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. This position supports plant leadership by delivering accurate financial analysis, managing key programs such as the Steel Resale Program, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Finance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
Experience with integrated financial and manufacturing software systems.
Ability to interpret technical and financial data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with steel suppliers, OEMs, budgeting systems, or compliance audits is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial statements, general ledger activity, and periodic financial results.
Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Monitor and manage the Steel Resale Program , serving as Finance liaison between OEMs and internal teams.
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support management decision-making.
Support Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal financial controls.
Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cross-functional finance support as needed.
Participate in ad hoc projects to improve financial processes, controls, and efficiency.
