About The Position

Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Alexa International Finance
team and drive financial excellence across one of Amazon's most innovative and
fastest-growing businesses globally.

You'll build the financial foundation for Alexa's international expansion by
creating country-level financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and
automating processes to scale our operations efficiently. This role combines
strategic financial planning with hands-on execution, directly impacting how we
grow Alexa's presence worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Nice To Haves

• MBA, or CPA
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Responsibilities

• Deliver country-level financial reporting and variance analysis comparing actuals to forecasts while building and maintaining financial statements for international markets.
• Lead AWS cost budgeting for the Alexa International organization and conduct monthly AWS cost reviews with business partners.
• Work with finance leads to develop financial models for advertising and subscription programs that inform critical business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Amazon, working alongside business and finance leaders to align on priorities and support Alexa's global growth strategy.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to answer critical business questions and support new market launches and business initiatives with financial insights as needed.
