About The Position

We're seeking a strategic finance professional who will transform data into
powerful insights that shape Amazon's global workforce strategy. In this pivotal
role, you'll be the financial catalyst driving critical decisions for one of the
world's most innovative companies, translating complex financial information
into clear, actionable recommendations.

Your day will be a dynamic blend of financial analysis, strategic planning, and
collaborative problem-solving. You'll dive deep into financial models, craft
compelling presentations, and engage with leadership across different
organizational levels. Expect to move seamlessly between detailed spreadsheet

ecosystem.

Our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team operates at the heart of
Amazon's People Experience and Technology organization. We're a collaborative,
data-driven group committed to providing strategic financial insights that
enable informed decision-making. Our work directly influences how Amazon
attracts, develops, and supports its global workforce.

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Partnering: Serve as the primary finance liaison for the PXT leadership team
• Analytical Excellence: Design and maintain sophisticated metrics, reports, and dashboards that drive critical business decisions
• Forecasting and Planning: Lead quarterly estimates and comprehensive annual operating plan development
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with senior business leaders and cross-functional finance teams
• Decision Support: Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit analyses and communicate key financial drivers
