Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global FP&A team based in our New York, NY office.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Economics, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
3 - 5 years' experience in Financial Analytics
Prior experience with financial modeling is required.
Prior budget or forecast experience is required.
Strong business acumen and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Extremely diligent with a high attention to detail.
Comfortable working in high pressure situations.
Accountable for quality and accuracy of work.
Must be a creative problem solver and a quick thinker.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience within the Media industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 5-year financial revenue and cash models.
Develop and maintain financial forecasts and databases.
Analyze close results and trends and prepare monthly close package.
Help prepare annual Budget LRP and reports for senior management.
Perform financial analysis of proposed economics.
Review contractual provisions during negotiations to ensure economic terms within the financial model and contract agree.
Analyze subscriber and financial history.
Improve and maintain process for tracking and reporting content licensing sales.
Perform ad hoc analysis to support the distribution business, as necessary.
Develop an understanding of AMCN distribution products and their position in the marketplace.
Research and summarize industry trends to inform forecast as well as renewal strategy.
