About The Position

PHINIA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our North America Aftermarket team at our World Headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this exciting role will oversee business case financial analysis, prepare monthly forecasts and budgets, and prepare and analyze financial reports and presentations, among other responsibilities and projects!

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and accounting principles
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Strong initiative to improve processes and gain efficiencies while maintaining objectives
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – SAP and OneStream preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or CPA qualification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee business case financial analysis on different customer opportunities presented by the sales team and help present to senior management
  • Prepare and develop monthly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with each function, organizational goals and objectives
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends, including, but not limited to, product line and customer profitability reporting
  • Provide support for monthly actual analysis, comparing actuals to monthly forecasts and providing commentary for variances
  • Prepare and analyze all customer monthly, quarterly, and annual rebates
  • Perform financial analysis and assist both the finance & accounting teams with ad hoc projects as needed
