About The Position
CBTS is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to play a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis across the organization. This role will partner closely with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to provide data-driven insights that support growth, profitability, and operational excellence within a technology and professional services environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, scenario analysis, advanced formulas)
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior leadership
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a technology, IT services, SaaS, or professional services organization
- Experience with recurring revenue, project-based services, and utilization-based models
- Proficiency with financial systems and BI tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting processes
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, pricing, and investment decisions
- Prepare and present executive-level financial reporting, including variance analysis, KPIs, and business insights
- Analyze revenue performance, cost structures, margins, and utilization across professional services, managed services, and recurring revenue models
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate new business opportunities, contracts, and pricing strategies
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accuracy of financial results
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities; proactively provide recommendations to leadership
- Improve and automate financial reporting processes and tools to increase efficiency and scalability
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, as needed
