The Senior Financial Analyst has responsibility for supporting all aspects of financial operations, including Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Corporate Development. These responsibilities include reporting to the VP of FP&A and supporting Executive Management (including CFO and COO).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting)
  • 3-5 years minimum of professional experience, preferably in private equity-backed organization
  • Solid understanding of GAAP financial statements and common FP&A processes
  • Strong data mining, modeling, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data management, etc.)
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve complex corporate financial models to support multiple reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and M&A processes.
  • Lead various financial and operational analysis, including tracking initiative performance, budget vs actual variance analysis, and ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess business performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Support monthly/quarterly and adhoc forecasting cycles, including management and coordination of inputs and engagement of various stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, operations, and other departments to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
  • Contribute and support the implementation of new financial systems and processes.
