ADP is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst – Variable Compensation. Are you a financial analyst with strong financial modeling experience? This energetic team, built on an ethos of teamwork, innovation, and associate engagement, collaborates both with ADP senior leadership and each other to share best practices and optimize the overall understanding of the business's financials. Requirements

  • Experience. You have 5+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
  • Advanced Excel experience, including creating and improving financial models.
  • High proficiency in core FP&A functions, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, including providing timely and accurate management.
  • Excellent business partnering skills, including providing insight around metrics, drivers, actual performance, and current outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to communicate and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Strong experience with Hyperion, Oracle, or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to work well both collaboratively in a team environment and independently, and a desire to mentor and contribute to the development of your fellow analysts.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to think critically and work with ambiguity.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous process improvement.
  • You'll have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Creating accurate quarterly financial forecasts using both proactive communication and data-driven modeling techniques that drive business decisions
  • Collaborating with finance leaders to create annual Operating Plans that align with strategic initiatives
  • Consistently providing actionable, forward-looking variance analysis focused on key business drivers as part of the monthly close process
  • Preparing consolidated financial results, such as P&L's, on a monthly basis
  • Performing ad hoc analyses (e.g. deep dive cost studies and strategic business cases) that support management in developing initiatives to drive growth and margin improvements
  • Developing new analytical packages and driving improvements in overall FP&A processes in order to simplify and enhance the organization
  • Effectively using financial applications to extract, aggregate, and analyze financial data and performance metrics
  • Understanding, interpreting, and communicating effectively to all levels of leadership
  • Establishing and maintaining business partnering relationships with leadership in your respective field of ADP
