Spreetail is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic finance partner to our Merchandising organization. In this critical role, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to merchandising and category leaders, delivering actionable financial insights through analysis, reporting, and modeling. You will support assortment, pricing, and vendor decisions by providing data-driven recommendations, owning budget and forecast processes, and increasing financial visibility into category performance and margin drivers.

Requirements

Lead financial planning initiatives using advanced Excel modeling and data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Build trust across cross-functional teams by clearly and transparently communicating complex financial concepts.
Deliver high-impact results in fast-paced environments by managing competing priorities and executing projects end-to-end.
Collaborate with business units to drive organizational performance through rigorous analysis and aligned execution.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and data integrity while approaching challenges with initiative and effective time management.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and management of financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
Deliver variance analysis and meaningful insights on actuals versus forecast/budget to inform business decisions.
Build and maintain KPIs and dashboards that track financial and operational performance across departments.
Collaborate with department leaders to understand objectives, manage budgets, and provide financial guidance.
Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and the quality of financial insights.
