About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering sound financial analysis related to sales, margin and inventory for VS&Co. Analytics are leveraged by business leaders during the monthly Merchandise Planning Committee meetings to hindsight, plan, and align on future business unit strategies. Other types of financial analysis performed are dedicated to total company margin architecture, Semi-Annual sales and inventory planning, Liabilities expense management, report development, and ad hoc projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred, MBA a plus
  • 3-5+ years financial analysis or merchandise planning experience in consumer products or specialty retail industries
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in delivering results as part of broader business
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent Microsoft Excel modeling / Power Point abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects while working in a dynamic, fast changing environment
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of management throughout the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent team building skills and comfort with environment of change and group decision making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze reporting that identify business opportunities/risks as they relate to inventory management
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/seasonal business review analysis as it relates to sales, margin, and inventory management to support key milestone meetings including amongst others: weekly business support meetings, monthly MPC, and quarterly earnings support
  • Prepare monthly/seasonal budget and close responsibilities related to Cancels expense
  • Collaborate with many cross functional partners from Planning, Store Finance, FP&A, Store Operations, Inventory Deployment, Inventory Control, and Production & Sourcing
  • Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as directed
