About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst I - FP&A (Hybrid) to join our dynamic healthcare finance team. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial planning, budgeting, and decision support across the system. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, healthcare finance experience, and a collaborative mindset to help drive strategic financial initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced).

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or Master of Accountancy).
• Healthcare finance experience.
• Certifications like CPA, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or StrataJazz Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage Decision Support Systems, ensuring accurate data integration from source systems.
• Lead and support the annual operating budget process, including stakeholder engagement and data preparation.
• Perform advanced financial and statistical analysis, including variance analysis, productivity metrics, and flex budgeting.
• Develop proforma financial reports for new projects and capital investments.
• Maintain and update financial dashboards and reports for monthly close meetings and board presentations.
• Support physician WRVU database management and reporting.
• Prepare periodic financial summaries, accounts receivable analysis, and regulatory survey responses.
• Champion financial tools and systems (e.g., cost accounting, budgeting, productivity tracking), providing guidance to other users.
• Collaborate with department managers and directors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
