About The Position

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate, you will play an important part in supporting the estimating, planning, and analysis of global corporate financial results and preparing the related deliverables used for internal and external reporting. You will be highly interactive within the finance organization, corporate functions, and PPG's business units with exposure to senior management, including the CFO of PPG. You will report to the Manager, Corporate Financial Analysis. This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in-office days per week at GO Headquarters and 2 days remote per week. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience, with an understanding of financial accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experienced in summarizing detailed information.
  • Proven track record of exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills.
  • Experience with Oracle G/L and Oracle-BI Application, Hyperion Financial Management preferred

Nice To Haves

  • CPA License preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly estimate and annual planning process for global corporate costs
  • Prepare corporate deviation analysis supporting monthly review with senior management
  • Support monthly close process for corporate functions
  • Work with the Corporate Accounting Analyst including review of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support the accounting, reporting, and financial statement preparation for the PPG Foundation
  • Maintain a robust control environment
