About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the G&A and R&D organizations as a strategic finance partner, providing financial insight, forecasting, and analytical support to drive informed decision-making. This role sits within the Corporate FP&A team in the Office of the CFO and works closely with cross-functional leaders to improve financial visibility, optimize spend, and support company-wide planning and reporting initiatives. Visa sponsorship is NOT available at this time This role has a requirement of working in office 3 days per week, which may be subject to change based on team and business needs, as determined by the department leader. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
  • Experience supporting G&A and/or R&D organizations strongly preferred
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems and planning tools (e.g., ERP, FP&A software) preferred
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to AI tools and automation solutions to streamline financial reporting and analysis
  • Supported AI-driven initiatives by helping structure data, test tools, and interpret results
  • Used tools like ChatGPT or Excel AI to enhance productivity and speed up routine tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for consolidating and coordinating inputs across functions
  • Natural curious, and a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance, anticipate business needs, and proactively identify and address potential issues

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to G&A and R&D leaders, providing financial guidance, variance analysis, and decision support
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operating reports, including budget vs. actuals and forecast updates
  • Lead forecasting and planning activities for supported functions, including annual budgeting, reforecasts, and long-range planning
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed financial and operational analysis and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, headcount planning, and strategic initiatives
  • Develop and deliver product-level financial reporting and analytics, including cost analysis, investment tracking, and performance insights in partnership with R&D and Product teams
  • Support corporate finance activities, including consolidated reporting, management presentations, and ad hoc analysis for senior leadership
  • Drive process improvements to streamline reporting, enhance data accuracy, and improve forecasting efficiency
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between actuals, accruals, and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and business cases
