About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the G&A and R&D organizations as a strategic finance partner, providing financial insight, forecasting, and analytical support to drive informed decision-making. This role sits within the Corporate FP&A team in the Office of the CFO and works closely with cross-functional leaders to improve financial visibility, optimize spend, and support company-wide planning and reporting initiatives. Visa sponsorship is NOT available at this time This role has a requirement of working in office 3 days per week, which may be subject to change based on team and business needs, as determined by the department leader. Please note that this requirement is subject to ongoing review and may be adjusted in the future.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
Experience supporting G&A and/or R&D organizations strongly preferred
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems and planning tools (e.g., ERP, FP&A software) preferred
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to AI tools and automation solutions to streamline financial reporting and analysis
Supported AI-driven initiatives by helping structure data, test tools, and interpret results
Used tools like ChatGPT or Excel AI to enhance productivity and speed up routine tasks
Excellent interpersonal skills for consolidating and coordinating inputs across functions
Natural curious, and a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance, anticipate business needs, and proactively identify and address potential issues

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary finance partner to G&A and R&D leaders, providing financial guidance, variance analysis, and decision support
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operating reports, including budget vs. actuals and forecast updates
Lead forecasting and planning activities for supported functions, including annual budgeting, reforecasts, and long-range planning
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed financial and operational analysis and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, headcount planning, and strategic initiatives
Develop and deliver product-level financial reporting and analytics, including cost analysis, investment tracking, and performance insights in partnership with R&D and Product teams
Support corporate finance activities, including consolidated reporting, management presentations, and ad hoc analysis for senior leadership
Drive process improvements to streamline reporting, enhance data accuracy, and improve forecasting efficiency
Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between actuals, accruals, and financial reporting
Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and business cases
