Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, financial services, audit, tax or a comparable position with some experience in leading individuals / a small team
Self-driven personality with a “hands-on” approach and high attention to detail - you are able to quickly understand new challenges and structure processes to help your team tackle them efficiently
Knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting rules, and experience in dealing with an ERP, knowledge of SAP 4HANA would be a great advantage
You are a strong communicator and able to make sure your team is getting all the support it needs

Nice To Haves

Experience in financial services / banking sectors or a fintech startup will be a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high-quality and timely monthly financials and ensure reliable and accurate daily finance operations
Champion our operational processes, including e.g. Accruals, Reconciliations, AP / AR and Finance Operations processes
Analytical review of balance sheet and PL, and proposing adjustments
Support external audit requirements
Guide the team in executing their work routines and take an active and supportive role in new and/ or challenging situations
Report directly to our Financial Accounting Lead and act as main point of contact to other functions e.g. FP&A
