How you will impact the organization… This Senior Accountant position is an opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a dynamic business (SaaS business model) with high visibility and growth ambitions. As a Senior Accountant, you will participate in all activities related to full-cycle accounting of the Consensus business with a focus on Revenue Accounting and Corporate Accounting. This is a key position not only in the accounting department but in the operations of the Company as well. Requirements

CPA license is preferred, but not required
4+ years strong GL monthly close experience and GL process flow experience required.
3+ years experience working with ERP systems, Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus.
Strong G/L analysis and understanding of GAAP accounting principles required.
Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
Experience in multitasking, prioritizing and meeting tight monthly/quarterly deadlines
Good business acumen and an ability to work across boundaries and cultures
Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.
Reliable, high speed internet

Nice To Haves

2+ years Experience on treatment of SaaS based customer/vendor contracts (ASC 606; revenue recognition).
Public Accounting experience/US technical accounting experience desired.
Publicly traded company/ SEC experience preferred.
Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus.
Experience on preparing consolidated financial statements.
Understanding of foreign exchange gains and losses.

Responsibilities

Prepare and record journal entries using adequate supporting documentation, primarily in the revenue and equity cycles.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end close cycle
Review and reconcile any other relevant accounting modules
Ensuring the accurate reconciliation of the accounts for assigned companies between the US and Local GAAP ledgers and ensuring all differences are recorded correctly
Prepare various monthly adhoc reporting
Prepare Non-GAAP schedules and adjustments
Contribute to audit and tax preparation by providing requested documentation and analysis.
Maintaining solid relations with our external and internal audit partners
Identify risks, implement controls, and maintain proper process documentation in accordance with SOX
Partner with cross-functional teams such as FP&A, Tax, Financial Operations, Internal Audit, and Legal, to address operational challenges due to business growth and drive process improvements
Drive process improvement and contribute to exciting projects that achieve scalability and efficiency, systems design and core accounting framework and management reporting
Assist in technical accounting research activities, including evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards and policies
