About The Position
The Senior Finance Operations Manager reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (SVP/CFO) [https://tennessee.edu/about/leadership/president/administration/david-miller/] and serves as a strategic and operational partner, supporting the Division of Finance and Administration leadership team and administrative operations through high-level analysis, initiative execution, and operational coordination. This role drives the advancement of key priorities by translating direction into actionable plans, leading cross-functional efforts, and delivering data-informed insights to support decision-making. The primary focus is on execution, analysis, and operational effectiveness. The position requires strong analytical thinking, organization, and learning agility, with the capacity to develop broader strategic capability over time. The Sr. Finance Operations Manager operates with a high degree of independence, discretion, and judgment, enhancing the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Division.
