This role blends hands - on ownership and leadership with financial analysis, compliance, and cross - functional partnership in a manufacturing environment. The Senior Finance Manager plays a key role in the business as part of the Henderson leadership team. This role also plays a key part in month - end close, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance; 7-15 years related experience and/or training.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

CPA or MBA preferred
PowerBI experience preferred

Responsibilities

Be part of the Henderson leadership team
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
Lead the process of long-term strategic planning
Partner with business leaders to provide financial support and insight
Prepare and review monthly consolidated P&L and balance sheet variance and flux analysis for management reporting
Provide financial models, ad hoc analysis, and decision support related to operational performance, capital investments, and strategic initiatives
Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to financial systems and procedures
Manage and mentor a financial analyst
Review journal entries and reconciliations and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Complete other projects & tasks as required.
