This role blends hands - on ownership and leadership with financial analysis, compliance, and cross - functional partnership in a manufacturing environment. The Senior Finance Manager plays a key role in the business as part of the Henderson leadership team. This role also plays a key part in month - end close, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance; 7-15 years related experience and/or training.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • PowerBI experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the Henderson leadership team
  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Lead the process of long-term strategic planning
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial support and insight
  • Prepare and review monthly consolidated P&L and balance sheet variance and flux analysis for management reporting
  • Provide financial models, ad hoc analysis, and decision support related to operational performance, capital investments, and strategic initiatives
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to financial systems and procedures
  • Manage and mentor a financial analyst
  • Review journal entries and reconciliations and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Complete other projects & tasks as required.
