The Azure & Server Net Revenue Finance team is hiring a Finance Manager to own Licensing business rhythms—monthly close, forecasting, and planning—and deliver clear, executive-ready insights. This role will also drive strategic Azure analytics that fuel Cloud growth. You will build partnerships across various finance teams to broaden your business performance expertise and synthesize insights into key themes and messages for executive leadership. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the processes for planning, forecasting, and monthly close, delivering sharp, compelling insights to numerous leadership teams for the Licensing business.
  • Partner with Microsoft Commercial and Partner Solutions (MCAPS), Accounting & Central Finance Team (CFT) to drive consolidated views of Licensing performance, understand business drivers and rev rec components that impact results, and lead forecast and target discussions, including preparation for executive reviews.
  • Partner closely with Azure Business Health teams to build data driven analytics and insights between Server trends and migration to Cloud.
  • Build deep analysis into on-premises business drivers and work closely with Central team and CFT to articulate key strategies, priorities, and opportunities for growth during earnings release cycles.
  • Own timely Rhythm of Business (ROB) process delivery and reporting infrastructure.
