Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of financial experience, pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of US operating model
  • Excellent PC skills and experience including Hyperion Planning, SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including oral and written
  • Confidence in working with and courage to challenge senior management
  • High degree of accuracy with attention to detail
  • Confirmed ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes collaboration to meet results
  • Proven capacity to effectively prioritize multiple and frequently changing priorities
  • Proven capability to meet strict deadlines with a high level of ownership and strong sense of urgency

Responsibilities

  • Prepare in-depth financial analysis of expense budgets, forecasts, and actual results for business review.
  • Serve as the key Finance business partner to R&I Leadership Team members for investment support.
  • Provide strategic insights and financial advice on key business decisions.
  • Partner with Executive Business Directors for various sales forces.
  • Maintain applicable accounts and cost centers for the US Business, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Drive cost consciousness and lead efforts to identify cost savings.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in planning and reporting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX 404 and local financial control framework controls.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting requirements and financial analysis.
  • Liaise with Global Finance Services team in Costa Rica to achieve business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Alliance Finance in support of Tezspire alliance with Amgen.
