About The Position

We are excited to share this exciting secondee opportunity to join the newly created Corteva bp LLC as CFO. The LLC has been set up by bp & Corteva to monetize the delivery of novel bio feedstock. The CFO plays a pivotal financial role in creating and delivering the business strategy and financial roadmap. The successful candidate will provide finance expertise into business decision-making - to create and protect sustainable value for bp. Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, Biofuels but working with autonomy within the LLC (alongside other bp secondees and 3rd party colleagues) you will be accountable for delivery of all finance priorities within Corteva bp LLC to enable it to meet it's strategic and commercial objectives. What you will do... Control – accountable for the set-up and maintenance of a robust control framework with the LLC. Own all Finance risks, controls and mitigations Responsible for ensuring careful stewardship of the shareholders’ investment. Reporting – responsible for accurate and timely financial and non-financial reporting both from a statutory perspective and to the shareholders. You will be responsible for the relationship with the supporting 3rd party and direct their activities. Performance – accountable for driving business performance in both economic and strategic terms including leading interventions where needed, to ensure strategic objectives and financial outcomes are met. Commercial – a trusted advisor to the Corteva bp LLC CEO and wider management team in support of business delivery (commercial, accounting, investment); providing finance expertise into business decision-making across strategic and operational imperatives. Advanced problem-solving skills, including: Resolving escalations around key judgments, commercial options, and third-party disputes. Prioritizing resource demands while balancing JV, shareholder, customer, and supplier needs. Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of making decisions with limited information. Ability to lead others through change. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a good command of English.

  • Degree in Business and/or Finance (or equivalent).
  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Significant experience in finance roles, including accounting, planning, performance management, and commercial delivery.

  • This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full time employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees).
