About The Position

Premier Auto Credit is seeking a senior finance leader who can help run the company based on numbers, historical performance, and credit analytics. This role is responsible for pricing, portfolio performance, financial strategy, and identifying operational and credit issues that impact profitability. This is not a traditional CFO role focused only on accounting or fundraising. This role is hands-on and analytical. You will work directly with the CEO to diagnose problems, explain why they are happening, and implement data-driven solutions to improve margins and reduce losses.

Requirements

7–12+ years of senior finance or credit leadership experience
Auto finance, subprime lending, or consumer lending experience strongly preferred
Deep understanding of loan pricing and credit economics
Proven experience with portfolio analytics and loss forecasting
Advanced Excel skills required (this will be tested)
Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment
Able to work on-site and closely with the leadership team

Responsibilities

Own loan pricing strategy, including APR bands, dealer discounts, advances, and risk tiers
Analyze portfolio performance using static pools, vintages, and loss curves
Monitor delinquency, roll rates, charge-offs, recoveries, and lifetime value
Identify margin leakage, underwriting drift, and operational breakdowns
Build and maintain financial and credit performance models
Forecast profitability based on historical portfolio behavior
Provide clear, data-backed recommendations to leadership
Oversee accounting and ensure GAAP compliance
Manage warehouse lines, borrowing base, and lender reporting
Improve financial reporting, dashboards, and decision tools
Work closely with underwriting, funding, and servicing teams
