About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Field Systems Integrator to lead the integration, commissioning, and support of complex industrial systems at manufacturing facilities and customer sites. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with system-level thinking to ensure seamless operation of automated equipment, controls, and data systems.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in systems integration, automation, or field service within industrial manufacturing
  • Strong hands-on experience with: PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) HMI/SCADA systems Industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control panel layouts
  • Proven experience with commissioning and troubleshooting automated systems
  • Willingness to travel (30–60%) to customer or plant sites

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with robotics integration (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA)
  • Knowledge of motion control systems and servo drives
  • Familiarity with MES and IIoT platforms
  • Experience with vision systems and sensors
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles in industrial environments
  • OSHA safety training or certification
  • Experience working in ISO 9001 or similar regulated environments

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and commission industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and robotics
  • Lead on-site installation, startup, and validation of manufacturing equipment and systems
  • Configure and troubleshoot control systems, networks, and instrumentation
  • Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and system architecture diagrams
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system designs and improvements
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams during deployments
  • Document system configurations, integration procedures, and service reports
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations
  • Provide training and technical guidance to operators, technicians, and junior integrators
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades
