THE ROLE : The Field Service Technician Level 2 will be responsible for start-up and commissioning of projects, preventative maintenance, and basic submersible wastewater pump (Flygt) and control panel troubleshooting at customer sites. Product specific training will be provided. Will interact with customers. Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent
2 to 5 years of technical work experience
Electrically and mechanically inclined
Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
Comprehend technical information and communicate it clearly
Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices

Responsibilities

Evaluate, repair, and conduct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical testing of submersible wastewater pumps
Troubleshooting of electrical control panels
General understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams
Perform start-ups and train customers on the equipment
Preventative maintenance and emergency callouts
Operating and maintaining a service truck with crane and out-riggers
Operating industrial equipment in a shop environment such as forklift, overhead cranes, etc.
Working with various Company provided hand and power tools
Accurate record keeping inside Xylem’s work order management system
Create and maintain a safe and organized working environment and culture within the organization and following protocols at customer locations
Take care of company property
Demonstrates High Impact culture through innovation, accountability and empowerment
Must be able to function in a team environment
Work independently
