Job Summary The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, working with mechanical, electrical, chemical feed, civil, and storage equipment, conducting routine contractual sampling and survey work, performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, maintaining parts inventory, completing cost accounting and field data entry, and anticipating and correcting safety issues (both company and customer-owned equipment). The technician will interface directly with customers and may work across multiple systems, locations, and technologies within a regional service area. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of technical work experience in the water industry or related field.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems depending on business unit.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices.
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead by example.
  • Able to synthesize technical information and derive actionable insights from customer experiences.
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Travel may include overnight stays for project durations.
