The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently. This role involves proactive system troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical work, diesel equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, and parts management. The technician also identifies and corrects safety issues on both company-owned and customer-owned equipment. This position requires direct interaction with customers and may support multiple systems, locations, and clients.

Requirements

  • Travel required estimated 70% travel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required driver and medical certification
  • Additional division-specific requirements may apply.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain all required customer site clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, diesel, or fusion experience (depending on business unit).
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Technically proficient and comfortable using Microsoft Office and smart devices.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Capable of translating technical information into clear communication for customers.
  • Proactive in identifying and solving problems, often in complex or unexpected situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant industry-specific licenses.
  • 2–5 years of technical experience in industrial or commercial process water systems, mechanical, or electrical maintenance.
