About The Position

AECOM’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking a Senior Fiber Infrastructure QAQC Manager to join our ICT Team. This position is a remote working situation. Our Senior Fiber Infrastructure QAQC Manager will support a major fiber infrastructure standards initiative. This role will assist in updating and maintaining technical standards, implementing quality assurance processes, and supporting governance activities for a global program. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in telecommunications engineering, quality management, and training development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or related field + 8 years of experience in fiber optic infrastructure, QA/QC, and standards development.
Demonstrated experience managing quality programs and develop technical documentation.

Nice To Haves

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a support role.
PMP or Six Sigma certification.
Expertise in QA/QC frameworks and governance processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS tools, and documentation platforms.
Familiarity with OSP standards and global compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist in reviewing and updating OSP standards, specifications, and guidelines.
Support development of technical schematics, drawings, and documentation for clarity and compliance.
Implement QA/QC processes for engineering deliverables and provide audit support.
Collaborate with governance committees to prepare documentation for expedited approvals.
Contribute to training content development and accessibility initiatives, including multilingual support.
Provide technical input for compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
Participate in program-level coordination and reporting activities.
