NRDC is seeking an Senior Fellow, Superpollutants, to work with the Industry team in our San Francisco, Washington, D.C., or NY office. Position Summary NRDC is seeking to hire a two-year senior fellow in our Climate & Energy team to help lead NRDC’s domestic efforts to phase down the super-pollutants called hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and support our international engagement under the Montreal Protocol in San Francisco, New York, or Washington, D.C. The employee will develop deep knowledge of HFCs or refrigerant-related policies and programs in U.S. states and abroad, the science and engineering behind key aspects of HFC replacement, and will be able to flexibly address other issues related to other climate super pollutants like methane, nitrous oxide, and other fluorinated greenhouse gases. The employee will work cross-functionally with a top team of lawyers, engineers, analysts and advocates to support policy development in these areas. This is a limited term 2 year position.
